You can obtain an API key and start experimenting with the Adviser Portals API by registering on our website.
Once registered, simply visit the API option on the 'My Portal' menu when logged in. You'll see some options that look like this.
Simply copy that key and present it with each request to the API. If you're the Developer, at this point, you may want to check out the Library Wrapper Classes which faciitate simple access via the API, our Developer Quickstart or the full API Documentation.
Please note until we have a direct debit in place you will not be able to enter the domain name of the website on which you intend to use the API. Without the domain name, the API will function in developer mode - data served may be limited, obfuscated or out of date. When the domain is entered (and validated on each request), full, clear and current information is served.
Your key will allow you to interface with our content via the API in Developer or Production mode. The content available to serve will depend on what your Network or Service Provider allows, as well as what you or your Client have selected (and of course the mode the API is running in).
Some content is available to serve over our API at no charge. Some content is not free. Simply choose what you need.
