General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

With the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming in to force on the 25th May 2018, you’ll need to consider how your business complies with the new data protection legislation.

To add pages and documents log in to your site with the ‘siteadmin’ details received in your ‘Welcome Email’.

From a website perspective, you’ll already have a privacy policy which outlines the type of data that may be collected via the website. You may wish to continue to use this alongside any additional data protection policy documents your business is required to produce.

The data protection policy required for GDPR relates to how you as a business; manage, secure and share your customers data. This is an internal business process policy that may differ based on how you work.

Once you have your data protection policy in place, you may wish to upload this to your website.
